Police Blotter: Customer Thinks He's the Express Line Police
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

Two women shopping at Saturday called police for protection after getting in the express checkout lane with too many items.
A report said someone in line behind the women took umbrage with their purchases and followed them out of the store and to their car about 11:40 p.m.
Police followed their car to Chestnut Lakes apartments to make sure they got home safely.

Light Posts Damaged -- Again
Residents on three streets said their lamp posts were damaged Saturday night -- and in each case, it was a repeat offense.

On Lakeview Circle, a decorative light was smashed. It happened once before, the owner told police.
On Glenbrook Drive, someone apparently took a baseball bat to a post for the second time in two weeks.
And on Rosalee Lane, someone shot out a resident's post light for the third time in recent history.
Hair Pulling Not Acceptable
A shopper at complained to police Saturday that the day before, she was in the food court when two adults brought in about a dozen mentally handicapped kids.
One of the kids pulled her hair, she said.
The woman did not know where the group was from, but wanted police to tell them they need better supervision for the kids.
Burglary
Residents on Cook Avenue returned home about 8:40 p.m. Sunday to find their door forced open and the house burglarized.
Jewelry and coins were among the items taken.
Kids Hiding
Someone reported a group of kids hiding in the area of Wolzhaven and Fairtree about 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
It was true, police learned. A family was hosting a birthday party and the kids were playing hide and seek.
