Police Blotter: Music Shakes Walls; Porsche Parks Illegally

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Porsche parked in front of the drew the attention of employees, who noticed the owner repeatedly left the car in the 15-minute parking spot and went inside to work out.

Police found the vehicle in the 15-minute spot about 9 a.m. March 30. The officer returned 15 minutes later, found the car still there, and left a citation for the Broadview Heights woman who owns it.

Mischief on Kelsey

Two residents of Kelsey Lane called police about 10:20 p.m. March 31 about kids running through the neighborhood.

The first said they rang the doorbell and threw something at the garage. The second caller said the kids were looking in the window.

They were gone when police arrived. 

Turn it Down, Please

Someone on Shale Brook Way was playing music so loud at 11 p.m. March 31 that it was shaking the walls at a neighbor's house.

Police finally got the resident to come to the door and found she was extremely intoxicated, a report said. 

She agreed to turn down the music.

Man Gets Maced

A man allegedly grabbed a female inappropriately when she got off an RTA bus on Pearl Road April 1.

The girl told police she sprayed him with Mace and he ran off.

He was described as black, missing four or five front teeth and wearing a long, brown dirty coat.

Spare a Buck?

A man in his 40s was appproaching cars on Royalton Road March 31, asking for money to fix his car.

Police checked the area, but couldn't find him.

Time to Go Home

A Royalton Road man called police about 11:15 p.m. March 30, concerned because his wife had left at 9 p.m. to go to and hadn't yet returned.

He asked officers to check the parking lot for her car.

There were no cars in the lot, a report said, but an officer saw the vehicle pulling out of McDonalds. He told the woman to call her husband.
