Police Blotter: Nanny Followed by Meat Salesman
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department.

A nanny picking up a child from a playdate on Bradgate Lane Nov. 21 was followed back to the child's home by a man in a red pickup truck.
The nanny told police the man approached and said he was going to follow her, then did.
Police found the truck and learned the men in the truck work for Iowa Steaks and were following the nanny back to her employer's house to try to sell them some steaks.

Police warned the men to get a solicitor's permit, cited one for driving under suspension and advised him that following women is not a good idea.
School Break-In

An alarm sent police to Whitney Elementary School about 3 p.m. Nov. 23, where they found a window punched out.
Nothing appeared disturbed, but it was determined that two fire extinguishers were taken.
Both were found, discharged, the next day by someone walking in the woods near the school.
Tire Slashing
Two tires on a car in a Meadows Circle driveway were slashed early Nov. 19.
It cost $286 to replace them, a report said.
The crime took place the same night items were stolen from a neighbor's vehicle.
Early Morning Visitor
A man knocked on the side door of a Kylemore Drive home about 4:15 a.m. Nov. 22, the ran toward Kinsner.
He came back, the ran toward Prospect Road.
He was gone when police arrived.
Mischief with Paint
Two paintball incidents were reported the night of Nov. 22.
A resident on Shenandoah Ridge reported just before midnight that he had arrived home to find pink paintballs splattered on the front window and garage.
An hour earlier, a motorist at Webster and Whitney roads said a car drove by, shooting at other vehicles with a paint gun.
He followed it and got a license plate number.
