Police Blotter: People in Ski Masks; Psst, Wanna Buy a Watch?

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A concerned witness told police she saw people driving down Waterford Parkway wearing ski masks about 9 p.m. May 4.

Police found a few cars matching the description, but there were no people -- or ski masks -- inside.

Motorists found a heavy park bench and a soccer goal in the road at Carlton Court and Waterford Parkway about 1:20 a.m. May 5.

Police moved the bench to a tree lawn.

Someone put dog feces on a car on Shale Brook Way on May 6.

Painting the Town

Someone sprayed some offensive words and a picture on the side of the night of May 4.

Yard Left Trashy

Someone broke open garbage bags in front of a house on Walnut Drive the night of May 3, leaving trash and papers all over the yard, a report said.

Soliciting in the Mall

Two men were reportedly approaching shoppers at May 6, asking if they wanted to buy watches.

Police advised mall security officers, who said they'd keep an eye out for the pair.

Theft from Car

A wallet was stolen from a car on Timber Lake Drive the night of May 3, a report said.
