Police Blotter: Public Indecency, Burglar Jumps on Balcony, Suspicious Men in Ratty Tees
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Delaware Drive resident called police April 4 after two men in old ratty T-shirts, driving a van with a window knocked out, came to her door and asked if anyone was living in the house across the street.
They said they were with a bank.
Police questioned the men, who did, in fact work for the bank, maintaining foreclosed properties.

They had a work order for the Delaware Drive address, but were asking the neighbors if the house was vacant because it appeared someone was living there.

A woman reported a black man staggering on Pearl Road and urinating on a street sign about 11:20 a.m. April 2.
Police spoke with an older man -- one the department is familiar with -- who stays at the Pearl Road motels. He was warned about public indecency.
Burglary Attempt
A resident at Chestnut Lake Apartment on Whitney Road said a man jumped on his second-floor balcony and tried to get in the unit about 10 p.m. April 3.
When he was spotted, the man jumped down and got into a red Ford Taurus driven by a woman.
Fraud
A man selling rims online got a large check from a customer who wanted him to cash it and send the extra back.
The man wanted to talk to police about it, and it's a good thing he did -- it's a common scam. The check is typically fake, but by the time the victim realizes it, he's already sent back the overage and is out the money.
Goose Down
An injured goose was reported near , 18300 Royalton Rd., April 4.
Police found two geese in the area, but both appeared fine.
