Police Blotter: Sex Offender Spotted in Back Yard; Man Lets Everyone Know His Nationality
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Howe Road resident sounded the alarm after spotting a former neighbor -- and registered sex offender -- walking through the neighborhood about noon April 13.
The man told the witness he was going through back yards because he was reminiscing.
Police checked the area and found a rear sliding door open at one house. They looked inside, but nothing appeared to be out of place.

They also spoke with other neighbors, but no one else saw the former resident walking around.

A Commons Oval woman complained April 13 that for the last month, a man on her street blasts his radio every time he drives by, and also waves a flag out the window and shouts "I am an American."
Police said they would speak with the man.
Mischief Makers
A Doe Circle resident heard a crash and then laughing outside her house about 2 a.m. April 14.
She looked outside and saw two boys, who ran off when she yelled.
Police found two covers removed from utility boxes.
Handicapped Placard Stolen
A man left his car unlocked at on Pearl Road for a few minutes April 15 and came out to find someone had stolen his handicapped placard.
