Police Blotter: Toddler Found in Middle of Royalton Road

A woman driving down Royalton Road about 11 a.m. Nov. 8 was startled to find a little girl in the middle of the road.

She took the girl, who appeared to be about 2 and was dressed in pink, to safety and called police.

Officers walked with her down nearby Pearlview Drive to see if anyone knew where she belonged. She was quickly reunited with her mom, who said they were doing yard work and had left the gate open.

Theft from Auto

A Hazelwood Avenue woman reported a purse and GPS were stolen from a car about 5 a.m. Nov. 9.

Tense Moments on Jonathan

A Johathan Drive resident arrived home about 8 p.m. Nov. 7 to find the door leadng from the garage to the house open and the light on.

The resident waited outside till police arrived. A report said there was no one in the house and nothing seemed to be disturbed.

Scary Texts

A Fairfield Place resident got an unsettling text message Nov. 9, a report said.

One message from an unknown number said "Hi," but the next one said, "I'm watching you."

She looked up the number and found it was listed in New Jersey.

Circular Driving

A resident reported a two vehicles circling around the area of Misty Lake Drive and North Red Rock about 11:45 p.m. Nov. 10.

Police spoke with one of the drivers, who said they had lost their dog and were driving around trying to find it.
