Police Blotter: Woman Screaming for Crack; Graffiti Artists Nabbed
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department
A Pearl Road resident was frightened enough to call the police about 11 p.m. April 15 after a woman pounded on her window and screamed to let her in.
The resident said the woman was looking for a man who used to live in the apartment next door, but got evicted.
The woman was screaming that she needed crack and begged the tenant to let her in.

Instead, the resident, fearful the woman would break in, went to the lobby to wait for police.
The screaming woman, who was in her 40s and had light hair, was gone when they arrived.

Pedestrian or Motorist?
A passerby reported a male riding a Segway in circles in the middle of Walnut Drive at Drake Road about 10 p.m. April 15.
The rider was difficult for drivers to see, the caller said.
Taggers Tagged
Police nabbed a pair of graffiti artists early April 14 after one ran from an officer near the turnpike on Pearl Road.
An officer caught up with the fleeing tagger, who lives in Brook Park, about 3:30 a.m. at the Chestnut Lake Apartments.
A report said both he and a Berea man were spraying black and white paint on the turnpike median.
Officers later found more graffiti on the center median, under the bridge and on the side of the Pearl Road bridge.
Damaged Property
A light on a Raccoon Trail house was broken the night of April 13.
It appears someone threw a rock at it, a report said.
Not Too Friendly
A Misty Lake Drive woman told police she left her car in the care of a friend while she was in California for a few months.
She found out this week her friend's father is trying to sell the vehicle.
Friendly Fire
A report of flames coming from a house behind sent police through a neighborhood about 9 p.m. April 13.
Officers determined the fire was on Fountain Court, but found people standing around it.
It was a legal bonfire, the report said.
Eggy Drive
A motorist on Albion Road about 11:30 p.m. April 14 said she heard a thump, then realized her car had been egged.
She asked police to check the area for the culprits.
