No, Not You

A resident at the Polo Club apartments reported a domestic dispute Jan. 20, saying a man and woman were screaming.

Police spoke with the couple, who said they were yelling at an upstairs neighbor, not each other.

Boyfriend Not So Friendly

A woman called police from a Pearl Road business about 8 p.m. Jan. 20 to report that she let her boyfriend drop her off at work and take her car.

But when she called for a ride home, he refused and told her good luck finding him or the car.

Text Fight

A Webster Road resident said he received 100 texts and phone calls within 15 minutes from an unknown male who threatened to kill him and his family.

Police found the situation wasn't quite that explosive. The Webster Road resident responded to the first text and ended up having a conversation with the person.

Officers advised the resident not to respond to nasty texts. Then they called the guy who was texting, who apologized and said he would stop.
