Poll Workers Still Needed in Strongsville
Board of Elections seeking people to work March 6 primary

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is still in need of poll workers in Strongsville for the March 6 primary.
Workers are also needed in Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, Parma and North Royalton, according to Laura Black, assistant manager of the poll worker department.
The board needs nearly 6,000 poll workers for the day. Those who are hired must complete training and will earn $172.10 for working on Election Day.Â

Also needed are people to serve as standby poll workers in case of absences, Black said. Standby poll workers receive $50 if they are not contacted to serve on Election Day; if they are contacted, they receive the full compensation.
