Raising Cane's Opens August 7 In Strongsville

And the chain is coming to town with a bang. During the ribbon-cutting day, the company is holding tons of giveaways.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers will open in Strongsville on Tuesday, August 7. This will be the fast food chain's first Cleveland-area restaurant.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Caniacs in Strongsville – and the greater Cleveland area – a Raising Cane’s to call their own,” said General Manager Anthony Anelli. “We’ve assembled an awesome crew and our new restaurant is in a great location, just south of Royalton. We’re all looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community and can’t wait to get involved with schools and other organizations in the area.”

Opening day festivities will include a "Lucky 20" drawing which will see 20 customers win free Cane's for a year. Customers 13 and older can enter, and entries will be accepted between 8:15 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on August 7. The drawing will be held at 9:15 a.m. and customers must be present to win.

There will also be a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Thomas Perciak and the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. That event will be held at 9:45 a.m. During the ribbon-cutting, Raising Cane's will present a $1,000 check to Strongsville Youth Sports.

“We are fortunate to have such an amazing recreation department here in Strongsville,” Anelli said. “Our team really enjoyed our time spent helping prep for their fall sport leagues and were honored to have the opportunity to volunteer with the Youth Sports Program for our pre-opening service project. We look forward to continuing to support this program through donations in the weeks and months ahead.”

Finally, 99.5 WGAR will be on-site from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to host a live radio remote.

Customers that have never been to a Cane's before should expect high-energy chanting from the 98 newly hired employees.
