Raising Cane's Officially Open In Strongsville
The fast food chain threw open the doors to its first Northeast Ohio restaurant on Tuesday.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Raising Cane's first Northeast Ohio restaurant opened Tuesday in Strongsville. The fast food chain gave $1,000 to Strongsville Youth Sports during a ribbon cutting ceremony.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to bring Caniacs in Strongsville – and the greater Cleveland area – a Raising Cane's to call their own," said General Manager Anthony Anelli. "We've assembled an awesome crew and our new restaurant is in a great location, just south of Royalton. We're all looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community and can't wait to get involved with schools and other organizations in the area."
Doors officially opened to the public at 10:30 a.m. The first 100 dine-in customers, 13 and older, that bought a combo meal got a free limit-edition Cane's T-shirt, along with a voucher for a free Box Combo. Also, 99.5 WGAR was on-site from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to host a live radio remote.

The check for Youth Sports was presented on Tuesday.
"We are fortunate to have such an amazing recreation department here in Strongsville," Anelli said. "Our team really enjoyed our time spent helping prep for their fall sport leagues and were honored to have the opportunity to volunteer with the Youth Sports Program for our pre-opening service project. We look forward to continuing to support this program through donations in the weeks and months ahead."
