Royalton Players Need Kids for 2 Productions

Auditions are scheduled for March 11 and 12 for the Royalton Players Spring show. 

Needed are about 20 students between 8 and 18 for two productions that will be staged May 11-20.

Auditions will be at the , 18533 Shurmer Road, Strongsville, which is the Royalton Players’ temporary theater. 

The first production is “How to Succeed in High School Without Even Trying,” a takeoff of the famous Broadway play that follows a group of students trying to make it through high school. About 10 to 12 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 are needed for the short play. 

Another 12 students between 8 and 14 are needed for “The Skokie Detective Charter School,” which is about a group of young students who become super sleuths and must deal with monsters in their school’s hallways.

Director Mary Manos-Mitchem said both productions are comedies and geared toward young adults.
