Sept. 22 event starts and ends at Spillway Picnic Area.

Inspired by the Olympics? Turn off the television, get off the couch and start training! You have more than a month to be ready.

Cleveland Metroparks challenges you to test you endurance in a race around Hinckley Reservation. Lace up the running shoes, wax the kayak, and put some air in the bike tires for the Cleveland Metroparks "Ledges to Lake Adventure Race" on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The race starts and ends at Spillway Picnic Area, adjacent to Hinckley Lake in Hinckley Reservation. Participants begin by testing their running skills for three miles on the bridle trail before grabbing a kayak and paddling two miles around the beautiful Hinckley Lake. Then, they bike nine miles to victory at the finish line.
