Skin Deep Medi Spa Celebrates Grand Re-Opening in Strongsville

The award winning medi spa moved into a larger space in the Westwood Plaza on Pearl Road.

STRONGSVILLE, OH - Skin Deep Medi Spa celebrated its grand re-opening on Nov. 16, cutting the ribbon on a new space at 13461 Pearl Rd. in the Westwood Commons plaza. The business is an award-winning medi spa and has recently expanded its services to include tattoo removal and new injectables.

The company moved into the new space because it had outgrown its previous location. Skin Deep has grown rapidly since its opening in 2013, expanding out of a cohabitation with Skin Deep Mega Tanning after only two years. Then it outgrew its second space near Scrambler Marie's and moved into its new site on Pearl Road.

The Westwood Commons area doubles the space for Skin Deep Medi Spa, allowing them to see more customers in a day and expand their services. Skin Deep will also look to expand its staff in 2017. There are currently nine employees at the business, and two or three more may be hired next year.

The company also now has the only PicoWay Laser Removal System in the state of Ohio.

Deborah Santillo is Skin Deep's office manager and sales consultant. "When it comes to tattoo removal, Picoway is the gold standard," she said. "The technology relies on the sound the laser creates rather than the heat. It’s a much more comfortable treatment for our clients and does very little damage to the top layer of the skin. You can get rid of these tattoos and there’s no scars. We can destroy the ink in less treatments."
