Strongsville Aldi's Reopens Thursday

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Aldi's location will reopen this Thursday, the company announced. Shoppers will have a chance to win a year's supply of produce as part of the grand reopening celebration.

The Strongsville store is just one part of a $1.9 billion investment in remodeling and expanding Aldi stores nationwide. In Northeast Ohio, Aldi's is investing nearly $60 million to update 35 stores in the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton areas by the end of 2019.

With Strongsville set to re-open on Thursday, Alid's representatives said the company is now halfway through its Northeast Ohio remodeling. The newly expanded stores have more room for ALDI products, including organic and easy-to-prepare options.

The Strongsville location is at 14267 Pearl Road. The re-opening ceremony will start at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday, with a ribbon cutting. The Produce for a Year sweepstakes will then be held before customers are given eco-friendly bags for shopping.

"Remodeling and expanding our stores gives us more room for our refreshed product selection," said Corey Stucker, Hinckley division vice president for ALDI. "We know our customers want more fresh and convenient options, and by renovating our stores, we are able to provide new products as well as more of their favorites."
