Strongsville Approves Renewal of School Levy

STRONGSVILLE, OH - The Strongsville City Schools Renewal Levy (Issue 120) was approved by Strongsville voters. Issue 120 passed with 61.3% (14,194) voting for the renewal.

The renewal levy is a five year extension of an existing operating levy, originally passed in 2007. This renewal will provide approximately $7.9 million for District operating expenses through 2023. Updated textbooks, transportation throughout the district, learning technologies, Advanced Placement and Honors courses, and co- and extra-curricular opportunities are some of the ways this renewal levy will be used to benefit the students and schools in the Strongsville District.

Our students deserve the very best education and the renewal of this levy ensures that we can continue to provide learning and growth experiences both inside and outside of the classroom that our students, parents and community deserves,” said Cameron Ryba, superintendent of Strongsville Schools.
