Strongsville Board Of Education Selects New Member
The board voted for Seth Roberts to fill the seat left vacant by the resignation of Colonel Duke Evans.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — Seth Roberts was voted into the vacant seat on the Strongsville Board of Education. He fills the position opened by the resignation of Colonel Duke Evans.
“I appreciate the Board’s confidence and their trust in the experience I bring to this group. I am excited to join Strongsville’s Board of Education and work to provide our community with a premier school district,” said Roberts in a statement.
Roberts will begin work immediately. His term will continue until Dec. 31, 2021. After that date, Roberts will need to run for re-election.

During the recent Board of Education meeting, Richard Micko was voted the board's president and Laura Wolfe-Housum was voted vice president.
Colonel Evans served on the Strongsville Board of Education for six years. He said he was proud of his work for the district but was leaving to pursue other interests.
