Strongsville Community Invited To State Of The Schools Event

Superintendent Cameron Ryba will outline the vision for the district before small groups review the school system's future.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville State of the Schools presentation will be given Wednesday, March 4. The event is free and open to the community.

The presentation will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Strongsville Middle School auditorium. Superintendent Cameron Ryba will lead the presentation before taking questions from the audience. After Ryba answers community questions, there will be a series of small discussion groups formed.

The small discussion groups will outline and review the district's next strategic plan. All community members are invited to participate in the creation of the strategic plan, the district said.

"During the first 45 minutes of the evening, I will provide our community with an update on the work we have been doing as a school district and where we will be placing our focus for the rest of the school year. I will also answer any questions you may have at this time," Ryba said in the letter. "During the final 45 minutes of the evening, we will be asking you to provide your input and insight on our focus for the future in smaller groups. This work will be the kick-off to the development of our next strategic plan. We hope that you can attend both sessions, but it is not required."

While admission is free, the district has asked community members to RSVP for the event. Interested attendees should email Dan Foust at dfoust@scsmustangs.org to say they're interested.
