Strongsville Homecoming Starts This Week

Free music performances, a parade and fireworks will bookend the four-day celebration.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The city's annual Homecoming event will return July 19-22 on the Strongsville Commons, at the corner of Pearl and Royalton roads. The four-day celebration will include rides, games, music and food; as well as firework display on July 22 at 10 p.m.

Homecoming will kick-off with a parade at 6:30 p.m. on July 19. The parade will start on Pearl Road and conclude with free entertainment on the Commons. Included with the free entertainment is a performance from That 80s Band.

Throughout the four-day community celebration, a collection of bands will perform for free. That 80s Band will take center stage on Wednesday, but the Cleveland Breakfast will play on Thursday at 7 p.m., while the Spazmatics will perform Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, crowds will get two performances, the first from Rick Smith Jr., a magician, at 3 p.m., and then a musical conclusion from the Caliber Band at 7 p.m.

The festival midway will open at 3 p.m July 19-21. The midway opens at noon on July 22.
