Strongsville Honors 3 Businesses for Innovation
The city's Economic Development Committee celebrated CCL Design, National Automotive Experts, and AkzoNobel Performance Coatings.

STRONGSVILLE, OH - The city's Economic Development Committee and Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish honored three companies with Innovation Awards at a Business Networking Breakfast on Sept. 22.
The three companies honored were:
- CCL Design, which produces specialty labels for the automotive and other industries;
- National Automotive Experts, which provides service contracts and warranties for the automotive industry; and
- AkzoNobel Performance Coatings, which designs protective coatings for buildings, airplanes and consumer goods like cans and food wrappers and has a research facility in Strongsville.
Budish told the three companies that they were doing great work and adding jobs to the region.

Budish, the guest speaker, also talked about the county's efforts to bring in new business and to help launch and support small and mid-size businesses. He congratulated Strongsville on its thriving business parks, which boast a vacancy rate of only 3 percent.
