Strongsville Man Indicted For Failing to Pay Child Support
William Guess owes more than $37,000

A Strongsville man has been indicted for failing to pay more than $37,000 in child support.
William Guess, 34, was indicted on six counts of criminal non-support. He owes $37,641.91 for his two children ages 14 and 16, according to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason.
Two hearings were held in Juvenile Court between 2005 and 2009. The last voluntary payment was made on May 14, 2009, in the amount of $41.

Mason announced indictments for 10 defendants who owe a combined total of $308,123 in child support.
The charge of criminal non-support is a fifth-degree felony, which carries a maximum sentence of one year in prison.

The indictments are a result of a joint investigative effort by the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.
Arraignments for Guess and the other defendants are scheduled for Oct. 25.
