Strongsville Plant to Expand

A Strongville manufacturing company is seeking to build an addition to its facility at 21944 Drake Rd.

Eberhard Manufacturing will add 19,680 square feet to its plant, Strongsville officials said.

Economic Development Director Brent Painter said he did not know how many new jobs might be created by the expansion.

"It's just a good sign that they're growing," Painter said.

Eberhard makes hardware for industries and vehicles, including latches, locks and handles. 

It outfits buses with a variety of items and supplies the military with parts for its vehicles.
