Strongsville: Rib Burnoff Is Aug. 12-14

The 34th annual Strongsville Rib Burnoff, sponsored by the Strongsville City Ciub, will take place Aug. 12-14 on the City Commons, featuring award-winning ribs, festival food and entertainment.

General admission is $3. Kids 10 and under are free. Active military personnel with proper credentials are free. There's free admission for everyone from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14.

Entertainment starts at 6:30 p.m. with The Air Chiefs playing on Thursday, Backstreet Blues Band on Friday and The Caliber Band on Saturday. In addition, 1-Take performs from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.

Hours are 4-11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12; 3-11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13; and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14.
