Strongsville School Chef Wins Award

Chef Michael Nowosielski, director of dining services for Strongsville Schools, won the 2017 Dining Distinction Award.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The director of dining services for the Strongsville Schools was recently recognized with the 2017 Dining Distinction Award. Announced at the end of the annual conference and expo for the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals, Chef Michael Nowosielski was recognized for his commitment to the industry.

Nowosielski has spent two decades working in food service. The early part of his career was spent in healthcare and retirement facilities before he transitioned into K-12 education dining services.

He currently leads a team of 37 employees, across seven Strongsville schools. He is responsible for ensuring that the meals offered to students are healthy, fresh, and tasty.

“To be recognized by peers in my industry with this award is truly special. I very much enjoy what I do and working with the students and staff of Strongsville schools on a daily basis is extremely gratifying,” said Nowosielski in a statement.
