Strongsville Schools Closed Thursday, Friday
Extreme wind chill temperatures led to the district closing school for the rest of the week.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville City Schools will be closed Thursday, Jan. 4, and Friday, Jan. 5, due to weather, the district announced on its website. Freezing cold temperatures have swept into Northeast Ohio, with wind chill temperatures in the -15 degree region. Thirty minutes of exposure to that cold can cause frost bite, according to the National Weather Service.
