The district was recognized for the sixth straight year as a Best Community for Music Education.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Schools have been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation (NAMM).
This is the sixth straight year Strongsville has earned the designation from NAMM. Strongsville is one of 623 districts nationwide and one of only 14 districts in Northeast Ohio to receive the honor in 2019.
"We are pleased to once again be named as one of the ‘Best Communities for Music Education’ by the NAMM Foundation, recognizing our District’s strong tradition of music opportunities spanning all grade levels. Students have the opportunity to explore and enhance their talents in many vocal and instrumental courses. Our music department teachers continually drive our students to reach their fullest potential. We are grateful for the continued support from our parents and community contributing to the success of our comprehensive music program,” said Cameron Ryba, superintendent of Strongsville Schools.
