Strongsville Students Clean Up At DECA Event
Strongsville High students will advance to national competition after dominating the Deca District Competition.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — More than 70 Strongsville students will be advancing to the DECA state competition after taking part in the DECA Districts.
DECA is the only national student organization that works to bring young people into careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and entrepreneurship. Competitions include a written test about business and marketing information, role-playing, and problem solving events. Students are then judged by their ability to develop and communicate sound, creative and thorough solutions.
“The DECA program and competition provides students an opportunity to problem-solve for real world situations. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to challenge themselves both inside and outside of the classroom. I am so proud of this group and their accomplishments at this district competition,” said Jessica Frenchik, Strongsville High marketing teacher and DECA adviser.
