Takeout Restaurant Seeks to Open
Little Hong Kong wants to move into former Hobby Town USA site

A Chinese takeout restaurant is seeking to open in part of the former spot in the Strongsville Plaza on Pearl Road.
Little Hong Kong is seeking a conditional use permit for 2,392 square feet in the former hobby store, 14785 Pearl Rd.
The Strongsville Planning Commission is expected to review the request Thursday, Aug. 16.

Planning Secretary Carol Oprea said the restaurant would mainly serve customers for takeout, but is also seeking seating for up to 24 people who want to dine in.

Last summer, of the former Bally's building for a huge Japanese-Chinese-American eatery, but was turned down because there were not enough parking spaces in the Strongsville Plaza lot.
Old Carolina was approved despite a parking deficiency because it is smaller than Kumo and did not require as many spaces.
