The Ocean at the End of the Lane By Neil Gaiman. June 2013, 192 pages.
Fans of Neil Gaiman will be thrilled with this new novel. Gaiman has a way of taking fantasy fiction to a new level by creating a whole new reality within our own. This story focuses on a seven year old boy that discovers that a family of women down that street that aren’t just your typical family. They have some sort of ability to conduct ancient powers. Fans of Ray Bradbury will certainly enjoy Gaiman’s modern take on fantasy.

The creator of the hit television series Without a Trace gives readers this new action packed thriller novel. Journalist Charlie Davis is on a family vacation in Disneyland when his wife Julie vanishes. As he begins searching for her, he comes to find out that his wife is not who he thought she was and that she was hiding many secrets. Charlie’s search takes him into a deep dark and dangerous world. This new book is full of twists and turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. Fans of Harlen Coben and Robert Ludlum will want to give this new book a try.
Wool: a Novel By Hugh Howey, April 2013, 509 pages.
Hunger Games fans will want to check out this future dystopia set in an underground silo. When Sheriff Holston, who has upheld the group's rules for years, decides to go outside to what is considered to be a toxic and barren wasteland, he sets in motion events that kindle the fire of revolution. This initially self-published e-book garnered such a huge following that it has been picked up by a big publisher and has hit the New York Times Bestsellers List.
