Toboggan Chutes are Open with Special Hours Today
You can spend Presidents Day at the Cleveland Metroparks Chalet

With kids home from school and many people off work for Presidents Day, the toboggan chutes at the Cleveland Metroparks Chalet have special afternoon hours today.
The chutes will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
Tobogganing at the Chalet can also be enjoyed through March 11, weather permitting, on the regular days of operation:

Thursdays -- 6-10 p.m. All students with a valid I.D. pay $5.
Fridays -- 6-10:30 p.m.

Saturdays -- noon-10:30 p.m.
Sunday -- noon-5 p.m.
Admission, including the use of toboggans and unlimited rides for the day, is $8 for adults and $6 for children 11 and under. One-time ride tickets are also available for $3. Group discounts are available, too.
Tobogganing may be canceled or the hours changed due to unfavorable weather and/or ice conditions. All riders must wear gloves or mittens. Children must be at least 42 inches tall to ride and be accompanied by an adult.
In addition to the twin, 700-foot long, refrigerated ice chutes that operate with or without snow, the Chalet Recreation Area features a heated building with indoor/outdoor fireplaces, a main gathering area with a large-screen television, a concession stand, a loft area with video games, and indoor restrooms.
The Chalet Recreation Area is at 16200 Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation, between Routes 42 and 82 in Strongsville.
