The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram is reporting that 30 of the 86 players on Elyria's varsity and junior varsity teams missed school today because of an intestinal illness.
The JV game scheduled for Saturday has also been canceled.

The players attended a team dinner last night, but the school district was not commenting today on whether the illness could be food poisoning.
