Top Baby Names: Know Any Landons or Avas?
Hi, Jacob and Isabella -- all 1,530 of you

Strongsville parents: If you named your new son or daughter Jacob, Mason, Logan, Isabella, Ava or Olivia, there's a good chance he or she won't be the only one with that name in the kindergarten class.
Those were the most popular baby names in Ohio in 2010, according to the Social Security Administration.
Ohio's top two names match the nationwide list. Jacob (744 Jacobs were born in Ohio last year) and Isabella (786 in Ohio) were also the most popular names for babies in the United States.

"I know my boys have Jacobs in their classes, but I'm not sure about Isabella," said Strongsville mom Debbie Shimko, whose sons are in the eighth and fifth grades.

On the national level, the SSA keeps track of which names have surged in popularity. This year's winners are related to each other -- Maci and Bentley. Maci Bookout and her son, Bentley, were featured on the show Teen Mom and its predecessor, 16 and Pregnant.
 The second fastest riser on the boys’ list is Kellan, the name of actor Kellan Lutz, best known for playing Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series. Coming in third is Knox, one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s toddler twins.
On the girls’ side, Tiana, the name of the main character in the Disney movie, The Princess and the Frog and Disney’s first African-American princess, is one of the biggest chart hoppers.
And to the dismay of some, Elvis has left the building. The name has slipped out of the top 1,000 for the first time since 1954.
Top names in the U.S. were: Jacob, Ethan, Michael, Jayden, William, Alexander, Noah, Daniel, Aiden and Anthony; Isabella, Sophia, Emma, Olivia, Ava, Emily, Abigail, Madison, Chloe and Mia.
