Trash Collection Returning To Normal In Strongsville
The city said large, bulky items and yard waste will be collected again starting May 4.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — Trash collection will return to normal in Strongsville starting May 4, the city announced this week. Residents will be able to dispose of yard waste and bulky items beginning Monday.
"However, Republic [Service] is asking residents to continue placing their regular trash in tied plastic bags rather than leaving it loose in bins. The plastic bags may be set at the curb, or placed into bins at the curb," the city said in a message to the community.
Yard waste, cardboard and large items will be collected by Republic Service, the city's trash contractor. Grass clippings should be put in brown yard waste bags or plastic bags that don't exceed 50 pounds.
