The Innocents By Francesca Segal, June 2012, 304 pages.

This is a funny novel of love, temptation and commitment. Readers will enjoy this fast-paced debut novel by the daughter of author Erich Segal.

The Perfect Gentleman: a Muslim Boy Meets the West By Imran Ahman, April 2012, 336 pages.

This charming, funny memoir tells of the author’s boyhood growing up as a Muslim immigrant in London.  As a boy, Imran is torn between his Islamic identity and his desire to embrace the West (James Bond is a specific obsession for him).  Serious issues like racism are addressed in an extraordinarily light way, and will leave readers both thinking deeply and laughing out loud.  Bill Bryson fans will love this book.
