When Is Winter Break For Strongsville Schools?

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Winter recess will start December 20 for students in the Strongsville City Schools. The break will continue until January 6, according to the district's calendar.

That means students will have about three weeks of classes in December. The district will have plenty of events for families to partake in before the holidays hit, though.

Here are some of the key events coming up in December in the Strongsville City Schools:

• Surrarrer Elementary band, choir, orchestra winter concert — Thursday, Dec. 12
• Strongsville High winter band concert — Thursday, Dec. 12
• Strongsville Middle School semi-formal dance — Friday, Dec. 13
• Strongsville Middle School art show, choir winter concert —Tuesday, Dec. 17
• Whitney Elementary's 5th grade musical — Wednesday, Dec. 18
• Muraski Elementary band, choir, orchestra winter concert — Wednesday, Dec. 18
• No school, records day — Friday, Dec. 20
• Winter break starts — Monday, Dec. 23
• Winter break ends — Friday, Jan. 3
