White Elephant Sale Benefits Strongsville Seniors
A two-day sale of household items will support programming at the Strongsville Senior Center.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Senior Center is hosting a White Elephant Sale on Thursday and Friday. All proceeds from the event benefit senior center programming.
The long-running sale will have an early-bird special on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Customers can pay $2 to come in and shop before general admission opens to the public. The sale is focused on household items like dishes, plates, cups, books, crafts and more.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, admission to the sale is free. A second day of White Elephant Sales will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday. Admission is free all-day on Friday.

The White Elephant Sale will be housed at the Senior Center, at 18100 Royalton Road. Customers that go in the afternoon can also visit the Strongsville Farmers Market which will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. outside the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center.
Kathy Sazima, Strongsville senior services coordinator, told Patch the White Elephant Sale is a chance for residents to start their Christmas shopping early. She noted that the White Elephant Sale has been a tradition in Strongsville for "years and years."
