  • A 17-year-old was charged with murder in the shooting death of 18-year-old Keichell Cardell.
  • Toledo Police are investigating after a 3-year-old had to be revived by the Toledo Fire & Rescue Dept. after "chewing on a plastic bag containing a 'white substance.'"
  • The husband of Johey Crawford, who was murdered in December 2021 by the father of her granddaughter, is suing Lucas County over its 911 dispatcher process.

  1. A 17-year-old was charged with murder in the shooting death of 18-year-old Keichell Cardell. Washington Township Police and Fire crews were dispersed to a residence in Raintree Village Mobile Home Park on Moss Creek Street around 12:20 AM Sunday. (WTOL)
  2. Toledo Police are investigating after a 3-year-old had to be revived by the Toledo Fire & Rescue Dept. after "chewing on a plastic bag containing a 'white substance.'" Crews responded to the 2100 block of N. Superior Street in North Toledo around 1 PM Sunday. (WTOL)
  3. The husband of Johey Crawford, who was murdered in December 2021 by the father of her granddaughter, is suing Lucas County over its 911 dispatcher process. Allegations include dispatchers failing to share multiple calls spanning two days warning of the threat to Crawford's life. (WTVG)
  4. The University of Toledo has hired Mark Batman to coach the women's soccer team. Coach Batman was the winningest coach in Ohio Northern University history with a record of 253-91-40 over 19 seasons. (WTVG)
  5. The Toledo Rockets will play Liberty today in the 2022 Boca Raton Bowl in Florida. The game is set for 7:30 PM and analysts are split on which team is the favorite. (Sports Illustrated)
