- An 18-year-old Toledo man was hospitalized after he was shot in the arm while home playing video games early Monday morning. The shooting occurred in the 3400 block of Angela Place and Toledo Police are investigating whether it is related to a shots-fired call one block away. (13abc Action News)
- St. Patrick's Church in Downtown Toledo hosted its annual firefighters' mass on Sunday. This year's service was particularly powerful because of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. (13abc Action News)
- Local organization Task Force 20 held an awards banquet at Maumee Bay Brewery to recognize those helping veterans in the Toledo area. The group formed in 2018 to provide outreach to veterans suffering from PTSD and depression. (WTOL)
- 65-year-old Joe Sparks completed a five-mile swim down the Maumee River for his 'Swimmin' for Women' fundraiser. Sparks owns Joe's Yoga and Fitness in Perrysburg and plans to make the event an annual fundraiser. (WTOL)
- A Toledo man was killed in an apartment fire at Hidden Valley Apartments in Holland early Saturday morning. Though firefighters arrived on scene, the fire was already burned out and the man was pronounced dead. (WNWO NBC 24)
