- Two bodies were found at the site of an arson on Chase Street police were searching in connection with the disappearance of Ke'Marion Wilder, 16, and Kyshawn Pittman, 15. Cruz Garcia was charged with kidnapping and Diamond Rivera was charged with obstruction of justice after three others were arrested earlier this week. (WNWO)
- The Toledo City Council is considering using American Rescue Plan Act funds to help pay for local residents seeking abortion access. The measure has been met with support and disapproval and follows similar endeavors by Cuyahoga County and St. Louis, Missouri. (WTVG)
- The Maumee Police are searching for Arzell Melvin Bonner after his vehicle was found parked in the Uptown area. Bonner caught the attention of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and is wanted for Fleeing & Eluding and Drug Crimes. (WTVG)
- A permanent art installation in the Glass City Center downtown celebrates the legacy of jazz music in Toledo. "Glass City Jazz: A Global Legacy" was created by artists Yusuf Lateef and Pete Goldlust in collaboration with the Toledo Arts Commission. (Toledo City Paper)
- Larry and Vicki Askins of the Lake Erie Advocates are celebrating their victory fighting against factory farms in Ohio. The U.S. EPA Region 5 Administration has sent a letter to the Director of the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture recommending Governor DeWine "terminate the illegal permits and declare a moratorium on any new ones."
