Hello again, everybody! It's Wednesday in Toledo and I'm back in your inbox to get you caught up on the most important things happening in town. Because community news matters! In today's issue, we'll touch on:
- A 38-year-old Toledo man, Thomas Tetreau, was sentenced to 21 years in prison for the receipt and distribution of child pornography.
- A Lucas County Grand Jury indicted Shyanne Papenfuse on five charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, six counts of endangering children, one count of permitting child abuse and one count of theft from a person in a protected class.
- Toledo City Council canceled a meeting with suspended City Auditor Jake Jaksetic on Wednesday.

- Toledo man Thomas Tetreau, 38, was sentenced to 21 years in prison for the receipt and distribution of child pornography. Tetreau was sentenced by a U.S. District Judge after his home was raided by the U.S. Secret Service. (WTOL)
- A Lucas County Grand Jury indicted Shyanne Papenfuse on five charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, six counts of endangering children, one count of permitting child abuse, and one count of theft from a person in a protected class. Papenfuse's 21-month-old child was found with multiple serious injuries while in the care and custody of Papenfuse. (WTVG)
- Toledo City Council canceled a meeting with suspended City Auditor Jake Jaksetic on Wednesday. No reason was given by Council President Matt Cherry for the last-minute cancellation. (WTOL)
- Lucas County Metropolitan Housing and Community Housing Network announced they will transform the former Park Hotel into affordable housing for at-risk young adults. The project is receiving $400,000 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati as an Affordable Housing Program subsidy. (WTVG)
- The parents of drunk-driving victim Olivia Wright are helping introduce a bill into the Ohio House that would strengthen penalties for repeat drunk drivers. "Liv's Law" would get rid of the three-OVI allowance before penalties increase. (WNWO)

- Several Toledo-based LGBTQ groups participated in a vigil Monday honoring the five victims from the Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs. (WTOL)
- A new "Plan B" location for the proposed jail will be downtown at Southard Avenue and Canton Street, which hosts the Lucas County Facilities Building. The site has reconsidered its original location of the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department. (WTVG)
- The Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo is hosting "Shine a Light on Antisemitism" to raise awareness during the holiday season this year. (WTVG)
- Westbound I-475 was closed Tuesday between Talmadge and U.S. 23 after three separate car crashes. (WTOL)
