🌱 Arrest After Rossford Police Chase + Semi Crash Closes US-23/I-475

Hi all. I'm here right on time with your Wednesday edition of the Toledo Daily, filled with all the things you need to know about what's going on in town. Including updates on:
- A car chase involving the Rossford Police ended in a crash on I-75 North near the Miami Street exit Monday night around 10:00 PM.
- A semi truck caught fire Tuesday morning at I-475 and US-23 North near the Salisbury/Dussel Dr. exit.
- The City of Toledo is hosting a "Youth Be Heard" series at various branches of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library in an effort to address issues such as gun violence and mental health.

- A car chase involving the Rossford Police ended in a crash on I-75 North near the Miami Street exit Monday night around 10:00 PM. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the suspect was apprehended after crashing into a barrier wall in a construction zone. (WTVG)
- A semi truck caught fire Tuesday morning at I-475 and US-23 North near the Salisbury/Dussel Drive exits. Fire crews from Maumee, Springfield Township and Perrysburg Township responded to the accident around 6 AM and no injuries were reported. (WTVG) (WTOL)
- Jesse W. Kovala, 28, of Gibralter, MI was arrested at the Super 8 Motel in Defiance County after reportedly robbing the Stop & Go Convenience Store on E. Second St. around 9:36 PM Saturday. Defiance County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the motel after a "threats complaint" came in around 2:39 AM Sunday and Kovala has been booked into the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. (WNWO)
- The City of Toledo is hosting a "Youth Be Heard" series at various branches of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library in an effort to address issues such as gun violence and mental health. The first sessions was held Monday night at the Washington branch library with four more sessions scheduled. (WTOL)
- The Ottawa Park Ice Rink will host a Hawaiian-themed skate night this Saturday from 7-10 PM. Regular admission is $4 with skate rentals available for $2. (WNWO NBC 24)
