- Kason Thomass, 5, who was kidnapped Monday in Columbus, was found safe in Indianapolis, IN on Thursday. Nalah Tamiko Jackson, 24, of Columbus was arrested. (WTVG)
- Hollywood Casino has avoided a strike after reaching a tentative deal with UAW Local 14. Workers at the Hollywood Casinos in Toledo and Columbus planned to strike before the deal was reached according to UAW Local 14 president Tony Totty. (WTVG)
- Motivational speaker Dr. V spoke at the Cherry Street Mission Art Walk as part of the "Tis the Season" program. (WNWO NBC 24)
- Bowling Green State University soccer player Joey Akpunonu has been drafted in the 1st round by FC Cincinnati. A junior defender, Akpunonu played for St. John's and was All-MAC 1st team and Academic All-America 1st team this past season. (WTOL)

- Christ the King Principal Steve Urbanski has been reinstated after the allegations against him were found to be unsubstantiated by Lucas County Children Services. The Diocese of Toledo announced Urbanski's return Thursday. (WTVG)
- One Toledo family is picking up the pieces after a semi truck ran a stop sign on Crissey Road and crashed into their century-old home on Central Avenue Thursday. The family is worried their nearby greenhouses that supply their plant and produce farm will be affected by the high winds and flying debris. (WTVG)
- A man trapped in a grain silo in Oak Harbor was rescued by first responders from the Portage Fire District and Mid-County EMS. The man was freed in under 30 minutes after crews responded to the Luckey Farmers facility on North Locust Street. (WTOL)
