🌱 Body Identified As Missing Toledo Woman + Point Place Arson Arrest

Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:
- Authorities have identified a body found near the Kentucky/Tennessee border on October 19, 1998 as Toledo woman Lori A. Alexander, 27, who went missing earlier that month. Efforts by the National Missing and Unidentified Persons system and the Knox County Regional Forensic Center helped identify Alexander. (WTVG)
- Toledo Police Sgt. Mel Stachura said kids may be attracted to joining gangs in Toledo due in part to their parents' inaction. Sgt. Stachura encourages parents to explain the consequences of a criminal lifestyle to their children. (WTOL)
- Toledo Fire & Rescue identified Charles Hall-Miller as causing a fire at the Regina Manor apartments in Point Place. Hall-Miller is accused of targeting an apartment belonging to Myreiona Hoskins. (WTVG)
- Toledo parents voiced their concerns about violence interfering with their children's summer programming to the Toledo City Council. TPD Police Chief George Kral says the department is taking steps to ensure safety. (WTOL)
- Former Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner is calling for the resurgence of Toledo's Model Blocks program, which oversaw the demolition of vacant homes and general neighborhood cleanup. (WTVG)
