Step inside one of Toledo’s most storied landmarks for an evening of dinner, history, mystery—and perhaps a few spirits.
This event includes a plated meal and choice of a beer, wine or soda. This is an all inclusive event with your ticket including the tour, presentation, dinner, drink and all gratuity and fees.
Meal option will include prime rib or chicken piccata both served with salad, sides and dessert.
Join Dr. Ted Ligibel and local storyteller Tedd Long at Maumee Bay Brewing Company for a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Oliver House, Toledo’s oldest commercial building. You’ll discover who Major William Oliver was, how the former hotel became part of Toledo’s history, and what stories still linger within its walls.
Following dinner, Ted and Tedd will lead guests through portions of the historic building while sharing its colorful past, architectural secrets, memorable characters, and the origins of the ghost stories associated with the Oliver House. It’s a unique evening combining great food, local history, rare access, and just enough mystery to leave you wondering what—or who—may still be wandering the halls.
