Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:
- Jacob Krinn and Troy Henricksen have been sentenced for the Bowling Green State University Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity hazing death of Stone Foltz in 2021. Both men will spend 42 days in jail followed by 28 days of house arrest, two years of probation, and 100 hours of community service along with court-ordered mental health evaluations, no-contact with the victim's family and court fines and costs. - The suspect accused of robbing the PNC Bank on Central Avenue in Sylvania Township has been arrested. The Toledo Police announced the update on Wednesday after working with the FBI Violent Crime Task Force following the robbery on Tuesday morning. (WTOL)
- The Gateway Arch in the Old South End was visited by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine on Wednesday shortly after its completion near the I-75 overpass on Broadway Street. Funding for the project was secured by Toledo City Council Member Theresa Gadus. (WNWO)
- The Toledo Police will train Washington Local Schools bus drivers in active shooter scenarios ahead of the new school year. TPD is offering the training to interested organizations and information can be found on its community services webpage. (WTVG)
- BP has agreed to sell its 50% stake in the BP-Husky Toledo Refinery to Canadian company Cenovus for $300 million. The plant has been an economic staple in the community for over 100 years and can process 160,000 barrels of crude oil daily. (Press Publications Inc.)

- Toledo's oldest philanthropic organization Greater Toledo Community Foundation (GTCF) will throw a 50th anniversary party and concert at the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle Theatre on October 8 featuring 16-time Grammy award-winning musician David Foster and Broadway and TV star Katharine McPhee. - 20 North Gallery is hosting an artist talk today for its "Chalk, Paper, Scissors: Works on Paper by Paul Brand and Anastasia Wagner" exhibit. (Toledo City Paper)
- Federal Judge Dan Polster for the U.S. District Court in Cleveland has ruled that national pharmacy chains CVS, Walgreens and Walmart must pay millions in damages to two Ohio counties for the opioid epidemic. Lake County will receive $306 million over 15 years and Trumbull County will receive $344 million for the same time period. (WTVG)
