Here are the top stories today in Toledo:

  1. A Toledo woman was hospitalized after being stabbed in the neck early Saturday morning in the 400 block of Speiker Terrace. The woman, Selena Owens, was found by Toledo Fire and Rescue and taken for emergency surgery. Toledo Police are investigating the incident. (13abc Action News)
  2. 42-year-old Winston Autry has been hospitalized after he was biking on Lagrange Street near Utica Street Sunday night. The offending vehicle failed to stop after the accident, and Autry's bicycle was adorned with several safety lights according to Toledo Police. (13abc Action News)
  3. A Lucas County Grand Jury has indicted Matthew Marx and Paulina Valdivia on two counts of child endangering and one count of reckless homicide. The charges come after the 2020 death of the couple's 3-month-old daughter, who was severely malnourished. Valdivia is reportedly currently pregnant. (The Bryan Times)
  4. Toledo Police responded to shots fired during a Halloween Party at Swayne Field in the 3000 block of Monroe Street. Police saw the crowd scatter and numerous shell casing were recovered from the scene. Several vehicles were hit but no injuries were reported. (WTOL)
  5. Alice Cooper is coming to the Stranahan Theater January 29 to promote his latest album, "Detroit Stories." Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 AM. Cooper, a Detroit native, has been a pioneer of "shock rock" since 1969.(WTOL)

  • The National Museum of the Great Lakes is hosting several special tours this November 6 & 7 to commemorate the loss of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald. Patrons will be taken on a guided tour through the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship, learning about its similarities to the Edmund Fitzgerald and hearing stories about the crew who lost their lives. (Press Publications Inc.)
  • Today is voting day in Lucas County. Turnout has been typical for a non-election year, but several local offices are at stake, including Mayor of Toledo. (WTOL)
  • 42-year-old Ronald Munn was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in the 3400 block of Rock Court. Witnesses told Toledo Police the incident was possibly a drive-by shooting. (13abc Action News)
