🌱 Fatal Wrong Way Crash At ProMedica Exit + NHL Drops Sylvania Player

  1. Mark Wysinger, 32, who was shot outside the Crox Bar & Grill on Arlington Avenue in South Toledo on October 15, has died from his injuries. Toledo Police recovered evidence and witness statements at the scene and the crime is now considered a homicide. (WTVG)
  2. Samantha Jahns, 29, has died after she drove the wrong way on the ProMedica Parkway/I-475 West exit ramp around 4:24 AM Saturday. Jahns struck another vehicle head-on before being transported to the hospital by Toledo Fire & Rescue, where she succumbed to her injuries. (WTOL)
  3. Hockey player Mitchell Miller of Sylvania has been dropped by NHL team the Boston Bruins after further review of Miller's juvenile record of bullying a special needs child. The decision comes after NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman says Miller is ineligible to play in the league. (WTOL)
  4. Lucas County assistant prosecuting attorney Rebecca Facey is raising awareness for the disturbing trend of increasing domestic violence. (WNWO)
  5. The third annual "Christmas Cruz" will take place on December 24 at 4925 Jackman Road honoring late TPD Officer Anthony Dia. Mr. and Mrs. Claus, along with Officer Dia's two children, will bring presents to Toledo Children's Hospital. (WTVG)
