Here are the top five stories in Toledo today:
- Police are investigating after Carol Zomkowski, 83, and Daniel Wozniak, 93, were robbed at gunpoint by two men while pulling into their driveway in the 3000 block of Elm St. in North Toledo. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers. (WTOL)
- Former Bowling Green High School strength and conditioning coach Zachary James Gibson, 30, was arrested for sexual battery and three counts of child pornography on Thursday. Gibson, who was fired by the school in April, was previously convicted of disseminating harmful material to a juvenile in 2010. (WTVG)
- Oregon Police are searching for the burglars who rammed their car into the front of Dirt Cheap Tobacco Store after first robbing the Vape Station on Byrne in Toledo on Friday. These two individuals are the same thieves who robbed Cricket West's Loonar Station in a similar manner. (WTVG)
- This year's UToledo 19th Annual International Human Trafficking and Social Justice Conference will host speakers Corey Feldman and Chris Hansen from "To Catch a Predator." Several other illuminating speakers are slated to share their wisdom September 21-23. (Press Release Desk)
- A person has been hospitalized after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the Anthony Wayne Trail and South Avenue Friday around 5 a.m. (WTOL)

- Antwan Walker Jr. was the 5th youth to be killed in Toledo this year, and community activists Malik Smith and Tremain Rayford are helping address the problem of youth violence head on. (WTOL)
- Nurses are needed for the Lucas County Sheriff's Office to staff the jail, which requires inmate patient care for colds and injuries and other medical care. (WTOL)
- The University of Toledo has updated its holiday schedule to celebrate Juneteenth, after the federal government established the holiday in celebration of the official end of slavery. (Press Release Desk)
- The Toledo Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly assaulted a man with disabilities and stole his car at the Dollar General in the 2800 block of Airport Hwy. (WTVG)
