Great River Connections Academy Recognizes Toledo Student

COLUMBUS, OH – Jadyn Jackson, of Toledo, was recently named one of Great River Connections Academy’s (GRCA) Students of the Month in recognition of her outstanding achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.

“Our students of the month demonstrate leadership and an extraordinary commitment to learning while serving as strong role models for their peers,” said Jason Swinehart, Principal at Great River Connections Academy. “The members of our faculty and staff are proud to give these virtual classroom leaders the recognition they deserve.”

Jadyn is a freshman at Great River Connections Academy. She came to the online school when she was in the seventh grade because her mother, Laurie Hartsock, believed the virtual school would provide a better academic experience.

According to Jadyn, the time management tools that Great River Connections offer give her control of her schedule and helps her to better prepare for her classes. She also believes the teachers are committed to helping her succeed.

“What I like most about Connections Academy are the teachers that are always there to help you,” Jadyn said. “They always help me understand things more and help me to make sure I am doing my best in school.”

As a Student of the Month, Cameron will receive a certificate of achievement and be profiled in the Great River Connections Academy student newsletter and the school’s social media platforms.
